A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDERS

Umba Daima is an online art marketplace & agency representing talented Black artists from the African diaspora. It was inspired by our travels overseas where we saw how many amazing Black artists are selling their art at local markets for very cheap prices. We thought, "how great would it be to help these artists reach international markets where they could make more money and get exposure to new opportunities?" We launched in June 2020 and have been growing ever since.

We carefully source talented Black artists from outside of the U.S. and U.K. These artists are brilliant and their pieces deserve to be exhibited in homes and institutions all over the world. Many are early in their careers and will see a lot of growth and achievement in the coming years.
